Working with Bright Green

Bright green is such a bold choice in a room it can be downright intimidating. But when tempered with more muted elements, it doesn’t have to be overpowering and gaudy. The room above from the blog Rooms for Rent features a classy use of bright green in a room.

A great way to work with bright green, as seen above, is to choose one element in the room to feature the bright green coloring. In the case above, they went with the walls. Then you pick more neutral selections for the rest of the room. That way, nothing competes with that bright green focal area.

If you’d like to try something similar, you can get a look like this one without having to paint your walls. Simply make a large piece of furniture your bright green focal point, like a large sofa. Then complement it with black and white geometric designs in other furniture pieces. You can see some fabric samples from the style below. You can also see all green selections here and all black and white geometric selections here.
